Nice easy free internet access. Yep im kinda havin a treat and having a totally non healthy meal i hate to say it but id forgotten how nice they can be once in a while.

The latest order of t-shirts were delivered yesterday - managed to get a full trips worth of shirts for me and a few others for orders for about 60 notes!!!

Now ive had a bit of a complaint from Stiggs missis saying there are no pics of the bike or of me! Have to admit its the first time ive had someone dissing my blog Anyway if you look to the top of the page there is a pic of the bike, on the about page there is another pic of the bike and if you look in the photos section there is another pic of the bike! There are no pics of me at the mo cos im taking the photos

While the trip is on going i will be trying to update the blog with photos and text whenever i fine a ‘free’ wifi connection, so the photos should start rolling in

Bike goes in for a final service before the trip on friday, just hope that doesn’t cost a fortune on top of all the other costs. People need to buy our fantastic t-shirts to help me complete this journey (hint hint)

So I was sposed to be off to Scotty Land yesterday, but the forecast was for snow & high wind over the easter weekend. In the end decided not to chance it just in case the weather bods actually got it right for a change, and blow me if they did!!!

Had a sprinkle of snow this morning and then its snowed on and off all afternoon I shouldnt really be all cos i like the snow lots, but not when ive had a bike trip sorted.

These days any snow in England is almost an excuse for a party as we dont get much of it these days. I remember when I were a lad it snowed and snowed and stayed on the ground for weeks at a time!

Managed to break the end of mi break leaver a while back, so over the weekend thought it was about time I started thinking about getting it sorted. Aprilia are not noted for their super fast delivery of parts, (read any forum posings!) so thought id just see if I could get a un-branded one. To be honest thoughts of a six week wait had already started to buzz round my head

Went to Manhattan Motorbikes in Sheffield totally on the off chance. And there it was - not originally designed for the Caponord, but a perfect fit and all for £15 and that included fitting!!!!!!! What a service

Well this is totally off topic, but thought I better put something in as nothing has been added for a few weeks. The reason is its been shooooooop shoooooooop tastic time. Been off skiing in Italy for a while The snow was just perfect, nice and dry and powder. I might even post a few pics later.

A bit that no-one has shown an interest in owning an exclusive t-shirt though. Looking into getting them done online, that way they should be even cheaper

A request has come through for a ladies skinny t - so thats the next thing to look at, and after that maybe stickers and hats and other stuff.

As an adventure journey we don’t want to make money out of the trip, but just trying to show it can be done on a budget and publicise it as much as possible.

Ive just finished reading Ted Simon’s fantastic book ‘Jupiters Travels’.  What a great book for any traveller to read, even if you are not that interested in bike riding it makes for a great read.  ‘Dreaming of Jupiter’ got started the other evening, so hope to have that read soon.  I think by then ill be so up for a bit of a journey on the bike!
