Once Round The Block…..

Well everything has changed as Rob had to go into hospital at the beginning of May for a bit of a big op, we decided to put the trip back a few weeks and stay within the UK.  So its now the tartan express We are now off to Scotty land, where we are gonna cover about 2000 miles taking in all the funky parts of the lands of the scotts.

One thing is for sure though - we are still not famous actors and the like so the trip is totally self funded as companies like touratech dont really care about folk like us But at the end of the day we are just off to have fun and live on the bikes for a while so they wouldnt get much advertising from that.

This is the blog of a bike trip that started out as a quick once round the block and ended up as a trip to Northen France.

As with all things in life plans and ideas sometimes spiral and get bigger and better.  Well thats whats happened here.  This trip started out as planning for a few weekends away towards the back end of last summer (2008) and before we knew it maps of France were getting bought.

As much as we are begging with a big film company to make this into a six week epic TV prog I just know we will not get all the freebies that a couple of other chaps got! -
